Perisher Blue New Ticket System PDF Print E-mail
Perisher Blue have been implementing their new Whole of Resort System, RTPONE  which included the ticketing component which were introduced this year. Feedback from guests has been excellent. They were impressed with the improved efficiency and the flexibility of being able to do hire, tickets and lessons at the one time, although we know we have a few things we want to fix for next year.

2007 will see the third stage of the implementation with the introduction of  RTPONE into the retail, hire and Food and Beverage outlets.

As part of this ongoing review of how we do things and due to very poor usage over the past few seasons, we have decided not to have the Pretty Valley Ticket kiosk open in the future.

With the new ticketing system, RTPONE allows guests to purchase a ticket for use on any day of their stay. For example, someone arriving on Saturday who only wanted to ski on the Tuesday, (for whatever reason) could buy their ticket for Tuesday on the way through on the Saturday.  For those unable to take advantage of this PB will make reasonable arrangements on restricted lifts (e.g PV Double and Telemark) for guests to access the PVC to buy tickets.
There will be other product changes that should be interest and be well received by your members that will allow for greater convenience and flexibility. We will also be introducing ticket scanning in the winter of 2007 as part of the ongoing upgrade of how we service our guests. This is something that should be keenly received by your members as many have written to us wanting to know why we have not followed suit with the North American resort
Passes will have a commencement and expiry date (and with scanning being introduced) they will be available for purchase prior to their start date allowing for guest to pre-purchase their passes on their way to Perisher.

In addition- access will be permitted prior to 9.30am without a valid day pass on Telemark, North Perisher and Pretty Valley in order for the Guest to access Front Valley to purchase a pass.

Repeat access prior to 9.30am without a valid day pass will of course not be permitted.
